King, my 2 year old shepherd, doesn't care if I failed my test, or how much of a mess I look, he's genuinely happy every single time I walk through the door.
Although both his size and his bark would lead you to believe he is about to rip you in half he is one of the sweetest goofballs you could ever meet. King has the ability to completely and instantaneously change my mood and I cant help but feel grateful to have in my life, especially during such stressful times as these. I know that if more people had the heart and loyalty of a dog the world as a whole would greatly benefit.
Sorry your week was so rough. The course can be a bit intimidating at times but hang in there. You will get used to it. It just takes some time to adjust.
ReplyDeleteI agree Lesley, definitely a hard week for the both of us. But at least we had each other :) and coming home to my dog and family definitely helped too.
ReplyDeleteSorry for your loss. Great to share your feelings in a way that people will relate...good job.
ReplyDeleteim sorry for your loss.i agree though that dogs are totally better than people, once i get my own place and i'm done this course, i'm planing on getting a greater swiss mountain dog. i love dogs there truthfully humans best friends, your dog looks like such nice Shepard, gorgeous dog. and also hang in there with this course it'll get better. i started in June and it was nowhere near as rough as this term.
ReplyDeleteThanks he's the sweetest. Just had to google greater Swiss mountain dogs, what a beautiful breed!
DeleteAnd what a relief knowing the entire course will not be like this term haha
